The Cinematic Live Experience
Cinema that breathes.
CinéLive is a hybrid live format. Performers act, dance or sing in front of a cinema screen that doubles as scenery. The result: the intimacy of live theatre with the visual richness of cinema.
Three layers
One experience, three layers.
Live on stage
An ensemble of professional dancers, singers or actors on a compact 12 by 6 metre stage, in front of the screen.
Cinema as scenery
High-end cinematic visuals on the cinema screen. Locations, atmospheres and worlds that no theatre can physically build.
Voice-over in your language
A narrator carries the story in the language of the room. The same production crosses linguistic borders without reshooting a single scene.
The Calypso technique
One patent. No shadow. No distortion.
The projection problem that made live performers in front of a cinema screen unworkable for decades: shadows on the image, distortion on the performer. CinéLive solves it with a patented technique developed by Geert Allaert. The technical foundation of the format.
Plug & play
One truck. One coach. Four-hour get-in.
The full format fits in one truck and one coach. Get-in four hours, get-out two. Every title in the repertoire runs on the same rig, only the content server changes. Today in Ostend, tomorrow in Liège.
